This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Casual downtown atmosphere with a formal vibe. The kind of place you’d take a client for a power meal and discussion. Very spacious, enough to have conversations without the next table being on top of you. The selected meals were flavorful and sufficiently portioned. We definitely left with lunch for the next day 🙂.

What can I say- coming from GA the experience at Red Horse was beyond fantastic! Starting with the ease of making a reservation with mgr just from walking by this afternoon to the exceptional service from Gabrial and Adriano to the perfected drinks made by Bianca, there isn't another restaurant in WP that can compare to the amazing dinner we had this evening. As someone who travels often, this by far is a place you do not want to overlook. Highly recommend and know that Jason sealed the evening off for us showing that the end of the night was just as fabulous as the start. Thank you- we will most certainly be back! (Order the burger- you can thank me later :)

From start to finish, everything was incredible—the service, the atmosphere, and especially the food. Naomi took such great care of us; she was kind, patient with all our questions, and her dinner recommendations were spot on. And the NY strip… WOW. Absolutely mouthwatering. I’m already counting down to coming back for brunch!

The shrimp was past its sell-by date, and to add insult to injury, they were also overcooked. I should know: I was the one who tried one (and would not let my teen try another). The sushi was incorrectly prepared (salmon + mango + avocado when we asked for no avocado) AND stringy. We eat sushi every Friday. We know sushi quality. This was not good fish and, again, worse yet, the rice was hard. Why and how? Do they not care? Is it atmosphere over food? Ultimately, I don’t care. I picked up the food due to the limited room service menu… I should’ve ordered from a local authentic restaurant instead. Even the popovers were meh…and those were the highlight! Were they packed in a box with sliced radish and grapes, you ask? Why, of course! Because why should a bread product not be packed with a watery radish? Where is the thought process? Where is the intent? I hate the fact I paid almost $100. That said, I’d rather get the word out than try to get my money back. Do not recommend.

Had a really enjoyable brunch at The Red Horse. The food stood out right away—well-prepared, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. The staff was warm and professional, creating a welcoming vibe throughout the meal. Service took a bit of time to get going at the start, but once things picked up, it was smooth and attentive. Overall, a great spot that doesn’t get enough attention—easily one of the better brunch options in the area.
